Stalling on making improvements to your home? Why we regretted it.

When we moved into our previous home we replaced the carpet and painted all the walls, baseboards and doors but waited on many other improvements such as replacing the bathroom vanities, replacing the kitchen countertops, adding a kitchen backsplash, etc. Of course we wanted to put things off for a couple of months so we didn't blow our budget but a couple of months turned into a couple of years. We finally ended up doing the kitchen countertops, backsplash and bathroom vanities and then, wouldn't you know it, we decided to move.
We were kicking ourselves for not taking the time to complete the projects sooner so we could've enjoyed them longer. No matter what we spent the money but we could've spent it sooner providing us with more time to enjoy our renovations prior to selling. Ever since we moved into our new home we've been constantly reminding ourselves of how much we wish we would've done the upgrades we wanted sooner. Now we continue to prioritize our list of home improvements. Here is a picture of our latest addition, a butler's pantry. We love it and have already put it to good use.
