City North is definitely coming back to life with new restaurants and businesses moving in. One new and exciting enhancement to City North is Toby Keith's I love This Bar. They have just signed a contract for 14,500 sq. ft. of space on the base floor of City North. It will be a full-service bar with seating for more than 300 guests. They will have live country music, country dancing and Whiskey girls (not sure?).
One of the best parts is they will feature local, regional and national up-and-coming artists. It's always fun to be one of the first to hear the next big artist in a small setting before they make it big. They are anticipating a late spring or early summer 2014 opening.
Now if only we could get a better grocery store in the Desert Ridge area...hmmm...how to make that happen?
